The figures describe the current directory record, not the whole medical workforce and not treatment quality. A missing field means that the evidence threshold has not yet been met. It should not be read as proof that a qualification, credential or operative role does not exist.
Medical specialties recorded in the directory
Hair transplantation is treated as a field of practice rather than a Turkish residency specialty. Doctors are grouped by the formal medical specialty currently recorded in their profile. General Practitioner is used when no completed residency specialty has been confirmed under the directory model.

|---|---|---|
| General Practitioner | 93 | |

How complete is the medical-education record?
Medical school and graduation year are separate evidence fields. Career-duration claims, age estimates and undated biographies are not used to manufacture a graduation year.
| Directory field | Doctors | Share of directory |
|---|---|---|
| Medical school and graduation year recorded | 149 | |
| Medical school recorded; graduation year pending | 19 | |
| Medical school pending | 3 |
Where are listed doctors currently associated with practice?
City is a directory field attached to the current clinic or workplace record. It describes where the doctor is publicly associated with practice; it is not a city ranking or a measure of clinical quality.

| Antalya | 8 | |
| Bursa | 3 | |

Doctor-specific technical stages in the public record
The comparison below counts a stage only when the current profile marks that named doctor's involvement as verified. Supervision is excluded from this chart because it is the directory's default starting status and does not prove personal performance of a technical stage.
| Directory field | Doctors | Doctor profiles |
|---|---|---|
| Hairline design | 35 | |
| Channel opening | 27 | |
| Extraction | 20 | |
| Implantation | 16 |
Credential memberships currently recorded
The dataset distinguishes standard membership, fellow status and examination-based credentials. Only records within the directory's accepted credential set are counted; conference attendance and clinic biography logos are not automatically converted into membership.

What this dataset can—and cannot—show
It can show
- How many profiles contain a named school and graduation year
- How formal specialties are currently classified
- Which accepted credentials are recorded
- Where doctor-specific operative evidence remains limited
It cannot show
- Which doctor is “best”
- Individual treatment suitability or expected results
- Unpublished qualifications or private operative arrangements
- The full Turkish physician workforce outside the researched directory
