‘Verified by Hair Doctors Turkey’ means independently checked by our editorial process. It does not replace or imply an official Ministry of Health licence, inspection or endorsement.
1. Doctor-only identity review
A clinic employee, coordinator, technician, nurse or a person described only as a ‘hair specialist’ is not added as a doctor. We reconcile the full name, name variants, medical identity and public professional history. Where medical-doctor status cannot be established, the record is held back or removed rather than presented as a physician profile.
2. Medical school and formal specialty
Medical school, graduation year and formal medical specialty are checked as separate facts. We prioritize ministry, university, hospital, academic and professional records, then compare them with the doctor’s own dated biography. Hair transplantation is recorded as a field of practice; ‘Hair Transplant Specialist’ is not presented as a Turkish medical residency specialty. If no completed specialty can be verified, the profile uses General Practitioner instead of guessing a specialty.
3. Turkish regulatory framework
Our role checks follow the Turkish Ministry of Health framework for hair-transplant units, including the Regulation on Hair Transplant Units published in Official Gazette No. 32182 on 6 May 2023 and its later amendments. We review whether the evidence describes an authorized healthcare setting, an eligible physician, certified personnel and a responsibility structure consistent with the current rules. Hair Doctors Turkey performs an editorial verification; it is not a Ministry licence, inspection or official approval.
4. Who performs each stage
A doctor’s photograph on a clinic website does not prove that the doctor personally performs every stage. Supervision, hairline design, channel opening, follicle extraction and implantation are researched separately. Under the current Turkish framework, channel opening is reserved to the physician groups specified by the regulation, while follicle collection and placement may also involve appropriately certified health professionals under the responsible physician structure. A check mark is added only when doctor-specific evidence supports that stage; a question mark means not yet verified, not ‘no’.
5. Techniques and procedures
FUE, FUT and DHI are tracked independently from professional title and operative responsibility. Hair, beard, eyebrow and revision transplantation are also recorded as separate procedure categories. A clinic-wide service menu is not automatically attributed to every doctor working at that clinic.
6. Current workplace and clinical role
We check the doctor’s current clinic, hospital, city and stated role against recent institutional or professional material. Ownership, medical-director status, hospital privileges and practice locations are recorded separately. Old or conflicting workplace information stays marked for recheck until a dated source resolves it.
7. Credentials and memberships
Credential Membership is limited to the accepted hair-restoration credentials defined by the directory and is checked against the issuing organization or its current member directory whenever possible. Congress attendance, a training certificate, a logo on a clinic page or an expired listing is not converted into active membership. ABHRS Diplomate, FISHRS Fellow and standard association membership remain distinct data values.
8. Evidence hierarchy and verification dates
Government, regulator, university, hospital and issuing-organization records receive the greatest weight. Doctor and clinic biographies are useful but remain provider-published claims. Reputable professional directories and dated interviews can corroborate facts; aggregators and social profiles are leads rather than final proof. Every profile carries a last-review date, and unresolved conflicts remain visible to editors.
9. Reviews, cases, videos and media
Patient reviews are summarized by recurring themes without treating allegations as proven clinical findings. Positive, neutral and critical material is considered. Case images and videos require clear provenance and appropriate publication rights; before-and-after material is never presented as a guaranteed or typical outcome. Media coverage is recorded with its date, context and tone.
10. Corrections and continuous review
Doctors, clinics, patients and readers may submit documentary evidence to info@HairDoctorsTurkey.com. A correction is accepted because the evidence supports it, not because a profile is claimed, sponsored or paid for. Material changes to workplace, specialty, credentials or operative role trigger a new review date and, where necessary, a change from verified to pending.
Sufficient doctor-specific evidence supports the field.
This does not mean false; the current evidence is insufficient for a check mark.
