How to translate the word supervision into specific responsibilities, presence and accountability for a planned procedure.
Supervision is not a technical stage
Supervision describes an oversight relationship. It does not reveal who draws the final hairline, extracts follicles, opens recipient sites or implants grafts. A physician can supervise a procedure without personally performing all of those actions.
For that reason, the directory does not use supervision as a shortcut for full operative involvement. It is displayed separately from the four technical stages.
Questions hidden inside the word
Ask whether the doctor performs the medical assessment, approves candidacy, reviews medications, authorizes the final plan and remains on site. Then ask how often the doctor is in the treatment room and what events require the doctor's direct intervention.
A useful answer names people and responsibilities. ‘Our doctor supervises everything’ is incomplete unless the clinic explains what the doctor actually does and what trained staff do.
Why the answer can change by package
Some clinics publish different operating models under one brand. A premium or doctor-performed package may allocate more stages to the physician, while another package uses a team under supervision. The doctor profile, clinic homepage and sales conversation may therefore describe different levels of involvement without making the distinction obvious.
Keep the exact package title and operator allocation together. Do not assume that a doctor-performed case shown online represents the standard model offered in your quotation.
How to document supervision
Request a dated, written answer that applies to the treatment location and date. It should identify the responsible doctor, the stages they perform, the stages delegated to other named roles and the plan if the doctor becomes unavailable.
On the treatment day, confirm that the plan has not changed before medication or preparation begins. If it has changed, ask for the revised responsibilities in writing and take time to reconsider.
How Hair Doctors Turkey records it
A verified supervision indicator means the public evidence supports a supervisory role. It does not mean all technical stages are verified. A question mark means the current public record is not specific enough; it is not an accusation or a conclusion that the doctor is absent.
